Now in its 27th year of operation, Ridgeway Occupational Consultants Inc. (“Ridgeway”) is an occupational medicine consulting firm and service provider owned and operated by Dr. Allan Rosenfeld. We specialize in career-related medical exams at our strictly occupational-medicine focused clinic in West Mississauga. Ridgeway prides itself on our high-quality, convenient, on-time, and friendly service for all of our customers.
Dr. Rosenfeld graduated from the University of Toronto’s medical school in 1984 and has practiced family medicine for over 35 years. In 1993, he earned a Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety and became a Fellow of the Canadian Board of Occupational Medicine in 2007. He holds designations from Health Canada, Civil Aviation, and Marine Medical Examiner programs.
With over 30 years in occupational health, Dr. Rosenfeld has provided expert testimony in WSIB cases, handled union grievances, and is recognized as an expert in disability management.
Denise has been working with Ridgeway as our clinic manager and an Occupational Health Nurse since 2016. Denise received her diploma in practical nursing from Conestoga College in 2015, graduating with distinction as a Dean’s list recipient. Denise has extensive experience and education in medical test administration and phlebotomy/specimen collection.
Ashie is a newer addition to our Ridgeway team and you can find her at our clinic. She received her registered nursing license in 2023 after studying at McMaster University. She is currently working on her Occupational Health nursing certificate.
Eli graduated from the University of Queensland’s medical school in Brisbane, Australia in 2017 and is both a Certified Family Doctor in Canada (CCFP) and a Specialst General Practitioner in Australia (FRACGP). In Canada, Eli is a designated physician for Health Canada’s Public Service Occupational Health Program, a Civil Aviation Medical Examiner (CAME), and a Marine Medical Examiner (MME).
Rathani holds a Bachelor of Arts in Health Studies from McMaster University and a Bachelor of Nursing from Ryerson University. She has extensive experience providing nursing services in a number of settings, including hospitals and workplaces.
Naomi has been working with Ridgeway as our Business Manager since December 2022. Prior to working for Ridgeway, Naomi worked for 10 years in nonprofit management, most recently leading a not-for-profit organization based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Naomi received her MBA and MA from Brandeis University in Waltham, Massachusetts.
Ridgeway specializes in providing industry-specific medical exams, including aviation medicals, marine medicals, driver medicals, and Health Canada medicals.
