Dr. Rosenfeld, the primary physician at Ridgeway, has been a licensed Civil Aviation Medical Examiner (CAME) with Transport Canada since 2018. Category 1, 2, 3, and 4 examinations are available either at our West Mississauga site (3075 Ridgeway Dr #43) or virtually (as a tele-medical examination). All of the necessary testing is done immediately on site. Dr. Rosenfeld attempts to keep his schedule flexible to accommodate last-minute requests for appointments.
The aviation medical exam is a thorough evaluation of an individual’s physical and mental health to ensure they are fit to hold a specific position in the aviation industry. The examination is tailored to the specific requirements of the position, and not all steps may be necessary for every candidate. Below are the six potential steps of an aviation medical exam. All necessary tests are done on site at the time of your exam.
